A former finance executive with an accounting degree, professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant - UK equivalent of a CPA) and MBA (Kellogg, Northwestern). Trained with Ernst & Young, worked at NCR and a US subsidiary of General Electric Company of UK (A B Dick Company, Chicago) before moving into Mergers and Acquisitions and subsequently CFO role in a packaging design agency.

Moved to the US in July 1981 to marry Patricia Kurtz (Elkhart, IN) an academic internist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago, now retired. Lived in Chicago and then Oak Park IL 1981 for 38 years before following two fabulous sons out to Los Angeles in 2018.

We now live in Playa Vista and enjoy babysitting, travel and contacts with old and new friends worldwide.
