Adam has been an active angel investor since 2021, focusing on early-stage investments in cleantech/renewable energy, software/SaaS, and bitcoin/crypto sectors. Adam previously worked for 15 years in the renewable energy industry, he was a founding team member and executive at Energy Toolbase, an industry-leading software platform in the distributed solar and storage space.

Adam has published numerous articles on the effect of utility rate designs and net energy metering frameworks on the economics of distributed energy projects. Prior to working in cleantech, Adam traded energy commodities at a high-frequency hedge fund and a natural gas trading firm. Adam holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Southern California.

He lives in the Pasadena area with his partner Laura and their two kids, Penelope and Luca. Outside of work, Adam enjoys traveling, yoga, tennis and poker.
