
Sally Graves De Witt
Board Member
Graves De Witt has an atypical path to angel investing. She received a bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri majoring in advertising and moved from Missouri to Los Angeles in 1971.
After starting as a Sales Promotion receptionist at Bullock’s Department Stores, she worked as Director of Advertising responsible for copy, concept, budgeting, scheduling and production for all newspaper ads, trafficking for all media projects, and budget tracking for the entire division budget.
She also worked as a PTA mom for 16 years culminating in a Golden Apple award for service to the San Marino Unified School District.
Former board member of Casa de las Amigas treatment center, National Charity League and San Marino Junior Alliance. Charter dive boats owner/manager following the death of her husband in 1997 when their children were 7 and 10 years old respectively.
Current board member of Planned Parenthood PPSGV, board chair for 3 years. Founding board member of PP Advocates. Early investor in Next Estate (now known as Green Dot).
