Membership
Pasadena Angels members are generally successful company executives or professionals, are accredited investors, and have an active interest in working with early stage companies. Companies that receive financing from the Pasadena Angels, receive much more than money. The company ultimately benefits from the involvement of members whose experience and networks of contacts can be as valuable as their financial capital.
Pasadena Angels membership is open to individuals from a variety of business, educational and professional backgrounds that share an interest in helping promising young companies achieve success. Members' backgrounds include engineering, law, accounting, finance, marketing, manufacturing, general management, commercial banking, venture capital, investment banking, and many other fields.
Prospective members should be an accredited investor based on the guidelines set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission. For additional information about these specific requirements, please review the University of Cincinnati College of Law website.
Members invest independently and take full responsibility for investment decisions. Each member is responsible for their own investigation of opportunities that are presented to the Pasadena Angels through its review and screening process.
The Pasadena Angels do not discriminate based upon age, race, religion, gender, national origin, or disability, and the organization is interested in maintaining a well diversified group of members.
It is important that each member be able to contribute to the successful fulfillment of the organization's mission through their experience and individual efforts. Accordingly, after completion of the application, each applicant will be interviewed by the membership committee of the Board of Directors in order to determine whether the individual's experience and skill set will benefit the group.
