Learn from a Leader Mentoring ProgramPasadena Angels' Learn from a Leader program is a unique and exclusive experience for entrepreneurs that brings together a world-class senior executive with a local entrepreneur. The program provides principals in emerging companies an opportunity to gain access to valuable knowledge and experience in critical areas such as sales, marketing, funding strategies, operations management and finance. All mentors are members of the Pasadena Angels or other affiliated organizations and have substantial executive expertise as CEOs, board members, and company founders. Mentors participate by invitation only and are selected from entrepreneurs, corporate executives and senior professionals with vast experience in the Southern California business community. All mentoring is provided on a volunteer basis and is offered to entrepreneurs at no cost. Current Learn from a Leader mentors include:
Beginning with an initial two-hour meeting, entrepreneurs learn what it takes to be an effective executive, including the practical realities of running a company, building relationships that are critical to business success, and developing personal leadership skills. Additional mentoring is provided through both one-on-one meetings with a mentor and an entrepreneur, and group activities involving other entrepreneurs from similar industries. The Learn from a Leader program is offered through the Pasadena Angels, the preeminent catalyst for developing successful early-stage companies in Southern California.
